Get closer to God

This is the post excerpt.

Its all about Jesus. Oooh how he loves us

To fight or die

It’s a dangerous thing for a soldier to go to battle and just stand on the battle ground unless he wants to commit suicide.
So happens to us believers, the moment you decide to accept Jesus as your  Lord and Savior then expect attacks and all sorts of storms raised towards you because you chose to stand against the kingdom of darkness and prepare your way to eternal life.

Are you just going to stand and watch yourself wither away??? Or stand and fight???

For Jesus says you will face alot of tribulations in this world but be strong for i’ve overcome.John 16:33

Victory belongs to Jesus my brothers and sisters because He is “a Mighty man of war” the “Lord of Hosts” who commands a large army of angels.

How then do we fight?

There is no weapon that is greater than prayer in Christian faith. We don’t wrestle with flesh and blood but with rulers and principalities, rulers and hosts in the heavenly places that’s why Jesus tells His disciples what “pray so that you’ll not be led into temptation”

When you pray to God you call Him to get involved into your life and work for your good so no matter what you’re facing pick up your prayer weapon and move to the battle ground.

“Since the days of John the Baptist, the kingdom of heaven has faced violence and the violent take it by force” Matthew 11:12

What it means to trust.

Psalms 27:14 Wait for the Lord, be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart; wait, I say, on the Lord.
Something comes in my mind when I hear the word trust. Literally I would think that it has to do with the confidence you have in someone…but in my views when it comes to God I think we should talk about “full trust” waiting patiently even when things look hopeless which amounts to faith.

The Bible says that without faith it is “impossible” to please God Hebrews 11:6 Galatians 3:11, Yes impossible!!! And the just shall live by faith Hebrews 10:38.
These two scriptures have been so fundamental in my life whenever I feel a sense of doubt within my spirit because they remind me a bout the life I chose, “a life of the just, a life of faith” Fear is the main cause of doubt and when trouble seems to consume you, fear shadows the might of our God and brings doubt which tells you to find a way out of your situation for yourself and maybe think that God is not by your side this time or maybe He has taken long!!! Here the word doesn’t seem to yield in your life but the Bible is very clear that our God never sleeps nor slumbers Psalms 121:4, He will never forsake us even though we walk through fire or deep waters and He is never late meaning His timing is the best.
It doesn’t matter whether you successfully go through with your plan or not, God requires you to follow His lead always as long as you chose Him. Let’s look at King Asa who had a splendid plan to conquer his enemies before hearing from the Lord who helped him get to where he was. 2Chronicles15-16
A generation of Israelites died in the desert because they doubted God who had started the journey with them and brought them that far so they chose to make idles for themselves and believe in Moses!!!! They made gods that couldn’t fight, talk and even help themselves that they just carried them

“All the other gods they are works of men they’re dead Psalms 135:16-18 but God is alive can fight, speak, work, heal, provide, protect all for our sake”
Psalms 40 I waited patiently for the Lord and He turned to me and heard my cry.

It’s always important to trust the Lord with your whole heart like David did so that the Lord will be pleased with you and pour out a blessing that will give you the desires of your heart.

The likeness of man’s redemption

Two guys were drinking in a bar.
As they were drinking, they started arguing, one guy pounced on his friend and started
beating him up.

After a long beating he realised that his friend was no longer breathing, he had already died instantly.
Then the guy started running away with his
shirt covered in blood. Those who were
watching the fight started chasing after him.

He ran to the house of a Christian man, knocked and said,
_”Can u please hide me? I have killed a person and people are chasing after me.”_

The Christian man replied, _”But where am I going to hide you in my one room apartment?”_

The muderer replied,
_”There is no time to waste here; just think of anywhere you can hide me.”_

After some time of thinking, the Christian man said to the murderer, _”Give me your shirt and take my shirt, but remember to keep my shirt clean!”_

They exchanged their shirts. Then as soon as the Christian man opened the door, people started beating him and he was badly injured such that he was taken to the police station.

From the police station, the case was taken to Court and the man was found guilty of murder. He was sentenced to death.

The real murderer was safe at home but was feeling so guilty that he ran to the Court and said, _”Can you please release that innocent man? I am the real murderer!”_

The Judge replied, _”Unfortunately it’s too late. You see the man has already been hanged.”_

The real murderer ran to the police grounds where the man was
hanged and for sure he found him dead, hanging.

He knelt down and cried his eyes out and said to himself, _” You paid for my crime!”_

He remembered the Christian man’s last
words to him:

That’s how the real murderer repented and became a Christian!

This is exactly what Jesus did for us. He died for the crimes which he did not commit on the cross of Calvary

_”I was arrested for you…_
_I was whipped for you…_
_I was spat on for you…_
_I was slain for you…_
_I was humiliated for you…_
_I was nailed to the cross for you…_
_I died for you…_
_but was resurrected by the Holy power of God!_❤

The confusing truth about Easter

The words of the prophets about a coming Messiah gave Hope to The human race for a new beginning and they all waited along for a restoration of what was lost. Jesus’ background is not what everyone expected, the way He came to the earth was unbelievable and His life was a complete opposite of what the Jews expected.
But above all His death was a surprise attack for all, for those who talked physically to Him, teachers and church leaders, even those who had hope in the words of the prophets. Their awaited was different from who they were seeing; they expected Glory, worship and Honor to the Messiah which they didn’t see. Jesus was a normal boy like all the others; growing in a small village town, running around like all the other boys till He was 30years when His ministry started thus it still looked like a fraud to them denying Him in the end.
As the people demanded for signs He gave them miraculous spectacles of the power of God but still they doubted His status as the Messiah

But one thing remained clear, He spoke with wisdom from above and had authority over all things. And even with knowledge of what He was to go through, He didn’t fall back, but asked His Father for strength so as to accomplish His mission to bring forth salvation unto man displaying abundant sense of love to the human race.
“Cursed is he who is hanged on a tree ” He bore the curse for all human race once and for all.

Therefore In this season stay rooted in Christ with Faith knowing that your freedom is because of His sacrifice at the cross and knowing that He can do much more than we can perceive so let HIm take control over your everything.

Confess positive always.

Looking back into the the past and all I can ever say is thank you Jesus.
That statement doesn’t mean that every thing is perfectly well but because the Bible declares that let’s thankful to the Lord our God in all situations, seasons and always. That means that no matter what you’re going through, all things work together for the good of those that believe.

So we’ve hope no matter the situation that we shall achieve our dreams through Christ who comforts us for in Him all things are possible. Is anything too hard for our God? Therefore confess positivity in all things and you’ll live a supernatural life of abundancy.

For He came that we may have life and have it in abundance.
