Its all about Jesus. Oooh how he loves us
This is the post excerpt.
Its all about Jesus. Oooh how he loves us
Psalms 27:14 Wait for the Lord, be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart; wait, I say, on the Lord.
Something comes in my mind when I hear the word trust. Literally I would think that it has to do with the confidence you have in someone…but in my views when it comes to God I think we should talk about “full trust” waiting patiently even when things look hopeless which amounts to faith.
The Bible says that without faith it is “impossible” to please God Hebrews 11:6 Galatians 3:11, Yes impossible!!! And the just shall live by faith Hebrews 10:38. These two scriptures have been so fundamental in my life whenever I feel a sense of doubt within my spirit because they remind me a bout the life I chose, “a life of the just, a life of faith” Fear is the main cause of doubt and when trouble seems to consume you, fear shadows the might of our God and brings doubt which tells you to find a way out of your situation for yourself and maybe think that God is not by your side this time or maybe He has taken long!!! Here the word doesn’t seem to yield in your life but the Bible is very clear that our God never sleeps nor slumbers Psalms 121:4, He will never forsake us even though we walk through fire or deep waters and He is never late meaning His timing is the best.
It doesn’t matter whether you successfully go through with your plan or not, God requires you to follow His lead always as long as you chose Him. Let’s look at King Asa who had a splendid plan to conquer his enemies before hearing from the Lord who helped him get to where he was. 2Chronicles15-16
A generation of Israelites died in the desert because they doubted God who had started the journey with them and brought them that far so they chose to make idles for themselves and believe in Moses!!!! They made gods that couldn’t fight, talk and even help themselves that they just carried them
“All the other gods they are works of men they’re dead Psalms 135:16-18 but God is alive can fight, speak, work, heal, provide, protect all for our sake”
Psalms 40 I waited patiently for the Lord and He turned to me and heard my cry.
It’s always important to trust the Lord with your whole heart like David did so that the Lord will be pleased with you and pour out a blessing that will give you the desires of your heart.
Two guys were drinking in a bar.
As they were drinking, they started arguing, one guy pounced on his friend and started
beating him up.
After a long beating he realised that his friend was no longer breathing, he had already died instantly.
Then the guy started running away with his
shirt covered in blood. Those who were
watching the fight started chasing after him.
He ran to the house of a Christian man, knocked and said,
_”Can u please hide me? I have killed a person and people are chasing after me.”_
The Christian man replied, _”But where am I going to hide you in my one room apartment?”_
The muderer replied,
_”There is no time to waste here; just think of anywhere you can hide me.”_
After some time of thinking, the Christian man said to the murderer, _”Give me your shirt and take my shirt, but remember to keep my shirt clean!”_
They exchanged their shirts. Then as soon as the Christian man opened the door, people started beating him and he was badly injured such that he was taken to the police station.
From the police station, the case was taken to Court and the man was found guilty of murder. He was sentenced to death.
The real murderer was safe at home but was feeling so guilty that he ran to the Court and said, _”Can you please release that innocent man? I am the real murderer!”_
The Judge replied, _”Unfortunately it’s too late. You see the man has already been hanged.”_
The real murderer ran to the police grounds where the man was
hanged and for sure he found him dead, hanging.
He knelt down and cried his eyes out and said to himself, _” You paid for my crime!”_
He remembered the Christian man’s last
words to him:
_”KEEP MY SHIRT CLEAN!!!”_
That’s how the real murderer repented and became a Christian!
*MORAL OF THE STORY:*
This is exactly what Jesus did for us. He died for the crimes which he did not commit on the cross of Calvary
_”I was arrested for you…_
_I was whipped for you…_
_I was spat on for you…_
_I was slain for you…_
_I was humiliated for you…_
_I was nailed to the cross for you…_
_I died for you…_
_but was resurrected by the Holy power of God!_❤
The words of the prophets about a coming Messiah gave Hope to The human race for a new beginning and they all waited along for a restoration of what was lost. Jesus’ background is not what everyone expected, the way He came to the earth was unbelievable and His life was a complete opposite of what the Jews expected.
But above all His death was a surprise attack for all, for those who talked physically to Him, teachers and church leaders, even those who had hope in the words of the prophets. Their awaited was different from who they were seeing; they expected Glory, worship and Honor to the Messiah which they didn’t see. Jesus was a normal boy like all the others; growing in a small village town, running around like all the other boys till He was 30years when His ministry started thus it still looked like a fraud to them denying Him in the end.
As the people demanded for signs He gave them miraculous spectacles of the power of God but still they doubted His status as the Messiah
But one thing remained clear, He spoke with wisdom from above and had authority over all things. And even with knowledge of what He was to go through, He didn’t fall back, but asked His Father for strength so as to accomplish His mission to bring forth salvation unto man displaying abundant sense of love to the human race.
“Cursed is he who is hanged on a tree ” He bore the curse for all human race once and for all.
Therefore In this season stay rooted in Christ with Faith knowing that your freedom is because of His sacrifice at the cross and knowing that He can do much more than we can perceive so let HIm take control over your everything.
“Looking back into the the past and all I can ever say is thank you Jesus.“
That statement doesn’t mean that every thing is perfectly well but because the Bible declares that let’s thankful to the Lord our God in all situations, seasons and always. That means that no matter what you’re going through, all things work together for the good of those that believe.
So we’ve hope no matter the situation that we shall achieve our dreams through Christ who comforts us for in Him all things are possible. Is anything too hard for our God? Therefore confess positivity in all things and you’ll live a supernatural life of abundancy.
For He came that we may have life and have it in abundance.
I am a chess player, and as a sportsman I reason through why sports men play the games they do. Every game is addictive as long as you fall in love with it, you love seeing others play, you love to talk about it and you not only want to get involved in it but surely also attract others to it. And there’s a confidence in that.
Here in Africa everything is though through adaptive influence. The music, administrative system, media, fashion, lifestyle is all influenced by external influence.
I check my study books, wardrobe, accessories and devices and actually it leaves me devastated that all of the above are not native, not even one is from Africa.
The adaptive game of copying whatever we see has become a vice.
“Where is the self esteem here in Africa? The feeling that one of our own can come up with something that we and others can also like and adapt to rather than always copying? ”
The culture that everyone admired and attracted fame, we’ve slowly thrown away, the African morals of being social and respectful to all has slowly withered away like a sand storm, the sharp African minds that displayed a fast thinking capability, the strength has slowly depreciated and like a Torjan Horse the adaptive game of influence is proceeding with its corruption through TV shows, media and false campaigns for a better world.
Where is the innovative Africa?
We’re a pod in a chess game and we’ve played a big role in making that happen. The queens and kings have influenced much of our lifestyle and administrative system yet we can exist by ourselves and be of greater purpose.
This is a call to wake, for my fellows. We’re are lost in a world that is not our own and let’s get back to our roots, back to the time we trusted what was originally ours. Let’s abandon the inferiority we’ve felt for a long time and embrace the fact that if others can then we can.
Cry Africa, cry my motherland.
Last week was a mourning one due to the loss of a popular RnB musician 35years old who had just got into a tangible success with his career and actually almost the whole country was paralyzed by his death.
But only one thing caught my eyes… “the cause of his death!!!!! It’s known that Death Is inevitable but most premature deaths could be avoided if good conduct is exercised. Actually this dude was beaten up in a fight, considering that it’s a normal thing for celebrities especially musicians to beat themselves to sense. This time he lost the physical battle which he has always fought unsuccessfully along with that of his life.
Now it really brings a message to me like, our lives are not insured unless they are in Christ. When Jesus rose from the dead He brought with Him the keys over life and death which we partake as a gift when we accept Him. In Christ we are Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 1Corinthians 4:9
The question here is How do you live a life to your satisfaction without carelessly whisking it away?
I hear people often after death of a loved ones saying that it’s God who gives and then takes away!!! This actually disturbs my mind because every good thing comes from the Lord
James 1:17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
Therefore He brings no evil unto anyone. The Bible is very clear that it’s the devil that comes to steal, kill and destroy;
John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy. I have come that you may have life in all it’s fullness.
why then do we accuse God for taking away our loved ones??
God takes no pleasure in our misery and If I feel such much sorrow when someone dies, when I see people crying their heads out… then how does God, the Almighty ,our Potter and Architect feel?? If we men can love then how much more does God love?? Can He really kill the very beings He vows to protect and loves so much??
Finally I believe that our conduct has much to do with how we fully enjoy life from childhood.
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it..….Anything good misused can cause danger to the beholder In various ways, our gifts, beauty, wealth, wisdom and knowledge we all owe them to God so when we’re in Christ we have full control of them instead of them controlling us or using us. So else where the above only lead you to destruction.
God is more than able to save us from all traps of evil and destruction but our conduct most times makes it hard for us to follow His directions. Pride, selfishness, anger and lack of respect for others has cost us a lot of lives and even with this carelessness we continue blaming God and complaining of how unfair He is..really??? But what are the fruits of the Holy spirit…..1Corinthians 12:8-11.
The above bring about the following
Galatians 5:22 But the Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 humility and self-control. And the above are the key to living the fullness of life.
